Challenge Statement: Health plans and health systems come together to provide patients with a quick and efficient way to assess symptoms and get a recommended care venue, appointment, and cost comparison 24/7. Health plans struggle with providing members with real-time information within the tools regulated for finding a care venue. In particular, the ability to assess symptoms and route members to the 'right' venue while providing choices based on cost and care recommendations from your mobile phone.

Based on over thirty in-person interviews with Health Systems, the development of a mobile-first solution that supports consumers’ healthcare decisions with intelligent and actionable recommendations was required.

  1. Register symptoms to condition algorithms that drive medical recommendations.

  2. Schedule appointments for medical services

  3. View cost to facilitate empowered healthcare choices

  4. Utilize virtual medicine by enabling a telehealth visit or geo-locate to the nearest healthcare facility.

While exploring Get Care lo-fi concepts with the team I was managing the design system integrated with the Brand Guidelines for cross-functional teams.
